We are traveling for the holidays. While at my parents house Junebug was coloring with crayons I used when I was a little girl. It quickly dawned on me there were probably a bunch of broken crayons in the box and this would be the perfect time to try melting crayons. Another activity I have seen on pintrest a few times.
Melting Crayons
Junebug and her 9 year old cousin loved this project.
What to do:
peel paper off of crayons
break them into smaller pieces
place them in muffin pan (I used cupcake wrappers)
put in oven for 15 minutes at 250 degrees.
*They will need to cool and become solid again. We put them in the freezer to speed up the process.
Once cool remove the wrappers.
