The Very Hungry Caterpillar - Egg Carton Craft & Worksheet

Now that we are finished with the Letter of the Week, we are going to do a theme each week.

Our theme this week is around The Very Hungry Caterpillar book.
I was really excited to find two copies of the book at Garage Sales in our neighborhood this weekend.

Day 1:
Today we did an egg carton craft & a worksheet.

Supplies needed for the craft:
The Very Hungry Caterpillar Book - We used it as a reference for the colors.
paint - red, green, yellow & blue
paint brushes
egg carton
pipe cleaner

 I used the lid of the egg carton for the paint.

We made two caterpillars.  One will become a butterfly on Friday! 

Part 2 - The Very Hungry Caterpillar Worksheet

 This worksheet is two parts.

Part one your child colors the pictures of everything the caterpillar eats.

 Next, I cut the pictures out for Junebug.

Then we read the book again and she glued the the food on the correct days of the week.
