Ladybug Apple Snack

This is our sad attempt at the adorable apple ladybug floating around pinterest. :)

Although, it may not look that beautiful, my girls absolutely love this snack.  As I was creating this post Junebug saw the picture and asked if I could make it today.  

 I put a thin layer of peanut butter on the bottom to keep the apple slices in place.  

You can just cut the apple 1/2 again and have two pieces instead of the slices.

Obviously the peanut butter was too runny.  I put it in the microwave for a few seconds.

But, again, the girls love this snack and that is all the matters in the end :)
