Letter of the Week - T

Train & Tracks
The trains are from Story Place
First, I copied the image to MS Word.
I changed the orientation to landscape and expanded the picture so it printed a little bigger.

Some great activities from Confessions of a Homeschooler
Color Matching - Turtles

Turtle Size Sorting -  COAH
 Turtle Counting - COAH
Cut & Paste turtle - COAH

Worksheets from ABCTwiggles
Color the big T's
 Color the little t's
Color only the things that start with T.

T is for Tree - Using branches

We did this activity as part of our "Letter of the Week"

T is for Tree!
It is also a nice tie in to Earth Day that is coming up in a few days.

Having fun collecting branches from our yard.
I cut up some pieces of green foam for the leaves.

She actually made two of these.  She loved working with the branches.
And YES the branches stayed glued to the paper once it dried!

Transportation Sorting

This is a fun transportation sorting activity I found a while ago from Printable Share.

It can be turned into a file folder game if you print it at 50% (I think, she tells you on her page what to readjust the size to).  I forgot to change the size when I printed it.

What goes on the road, in the sky, on the water or on the tracks?

We paired the activity with the Little People Transportation flap book.
