Tot Tray Monday - Valentine's Day Edition

Special edition of Tot Tray Monday!
All Valentine's Day themed activities

Heart Matching - numbers
I bought a 12" x 18" sheet of red foam.

**Foam is great for projects like this.  It costs less than a $1 for a sheet and you don't have to worry about getting it laminated.  So, you will get a lot of use out of it!

I simply cut 10 heart shapes out of the foam.
I then cut the hearts in half making jagged cuts.  Each piece is cut slightly different.
I then added the numbers & dots with puffy paint.  Let it dry overnight.

Candy Heart Sorting by color

Create a heart shape out of candy hearts

Lacing Heart
I made this out of foam so it can be used again.

Heart tangram

There two levels below.
1) This one shows where the shapes should be placed.

2) This one is more challenging without the shapes drawn on the heart.
Print out two copies of the heart template.

Trace the shapes onto the heart and cut out the pieces.

Counting Valentine's/Coloring book

You can print this little book out in color or black & white.
I chose black & white and will have Junebug color the hearts.
