North Pole Breakfast with our Elf on the Shelf!

Our Elf on the Shelf "Elliot" arrived Thanksgiving morning with a special North Pole breakfast.  

 The menu included:

mini powdered donuts

mini bagels and strawberry cream cheese

mini pancakes 

raspberries

chocolate milk with a a candy cane stir 

Plus, a variety of chocolates. (Elves love their sweets) 

 Since his arrival we have been working on Elf on the Shelf  inspired activity packs

by Royal Baloo and 3 Dinosaurs 

A lot of activities available for a variety of age levels.

Free Personalized Video from Santa

OK, OK! I know I said I was taking a break from blogging until the New Year.  But, I just had to share this adorable FREE personalized video from Santa.

I remember doing this when Junebug was 18 months. But, the video has changed so much and they do an amazing job including your child's name, showing the reindeer and the elves in the workshop.

Super Cute!  I got a little teary watching it with Junebug, she was in awe.

Pretend Play - Decorating Christmas Presents

 I had everything I need for this activity on hand.

I did purchase a package of bows a couple of weeks ago from the Dollar Store for this activity.

 I placed a magnet on the back of all the bows, a few Christmas tags and ribbon.

 

*choking hazard*

You can also hot glue gun the magnets on. 

I covered two small cookie sheets and our dishwasher with wrapping paper.

St. Nicholas came and left the girls some gifts. I grew up with St. Nicholas visiting us every year.

It was a special day for my Grandmother growing up and she wants us to carry on the tradition.

They each got a new winter cup.

I found these at Target and thought they were super cute and could be used all winter.

We actually got this last year but never watched it.  So, it was a nice surprise for them this year.
