We won't be doing Tot Trays for a couple of weeks.  

So, I wanted to combine the 

April Showers bring May Flowers theme. 

 The following worksheets are from two different tot packs from

There are a lot of great activities in these tot packs.  I printed out a bunch to use at a different time.  But, for now we will work on the ones I posted below. 

R is for rain

You can use pom poms, beads or daubers for this worksheet.

This time we are using crystal beads (from the Dollar Store)

 Counting raindrops.

Place a number on the page and have your child count out the raindrops.

Tot Tray Monday - Eath Day Edition!

Fish out the garbage to be recycled

Help save the fish and recycle the garbage!

I put a small magnet on each piece of garbage from our recycling bin.

I have a roll of magnetic tape I purchased from the craft store.  One side is adhesive.

This is a fun way to introduce the importance of putting garbage in its proper place.

She used the magnetic fishing pole from one of our Melissa and Doug puzzles.

If you don't have one, you could make one with a stick, paper towel roll, etc. and some yarn. 

Then add a magnet to the yarn.

I was happy to find an Earth Day themed preschool back from itsy bitsy learners

Place the blue pom poms on the water.

Place the green pom poms on the land.

I was planning on doing spring themed tot trays.  

Then as I was getting out our spring decorations over the weekend I remembered all the spring themed books we have packed away.  So, I thought it would be great to incorporate the books with the tot trays.

Book: Three Little Caterpillars

First she will sort the pom poms from big to biggest.

Then she will glue the correct color pom poms on the correct size stick to match the caterpillars in the book.

I printed the clover on green paper then laminated and hole-punched it.

Cutting practice
Ideally, I would like her to practice cutting with the green paper.
Then paste the pieces of paper to the clover.
This will probably be a two-day project :)
