Slime - Borax Free!

This was so simple and Junebug played with it for almost an hour.

You are 3 ingredients and 3 steps away from this fun and MESSY activity!

I wanted to make slime but I wasn't excited about using Borax.  Which can irritate skin.

You only need 3 ingredients and the third one is optional!

What you need:

Cornstarch - 16oz ($1 at Walmart)
Water - 1 & 1/2 cups
Food Coloring - ($1 at our Dollar Store) this is optional, leaving white is fine too!
Big bowl
Ready to make slime!
 1) Add the cornstarch
 2) Add the water
 3) Mix (yep, that simple)

**What is so fascinating about slime is it practically just melts in your hands.
You will think you didn't mix it enough, like a dough that needs more water.
But, it never truly mixes all the way.
The top layer is liquid, but underneath it is thick.
But, once you pull your hands out it just turns to liquid all over again.  VERY COOL!**

First, she decided she wanted red.
After playing a while she wanted blue.  So, I told her we could make purple instead. :)
