Practice Writing Letters in Salt

Writing in Salt

Have your child practice writing their letters in salt.  They can use their finger or use a paint brush. 

All you need is salt, a pencil box and index cards for the letters.

*You only need a thin layer of salt*

*If you don't have a pencil case, any type of container could work.  

You can pencil cases for about  $1 in the office supply section of Target, Walmart, etc.  

I made cards with the big and little letters, sight words and shapes!
